You will explore the vast Serengeti with its endless plains looking for the big cats. The Serengeti hosts the largest mammal migration in the world and is a popular destination for popular African safaris. It is the migration for which Serengeti is perhaps most famous. Over a million wildebeest and about 200,000 zebras flow south from the northern hills to the southern plains seasonally. So strong is the ancient instinct to move that no drought, gorge, or crocodile infested river can hold them back. After lunch and further game drive, you will drive to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6 Serengeti National Park

You will have breakfast at the Lodge before we embark on an early morning game drive in the park. The Migration, consisting of around 2 million animals, is on the move all year round. It is one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in their natural setting. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species.
